Virginia’s Revised Standards of Accreditation

The new Regulations Establishing the Standards of Accrediting Public Schools in Virginia, approved by the Board of Education in November, 2017, are effective this academic year.  The Virginia Department of Education website has important information that will assist school personnel in understanding these changes and their impact on both schools and students. Information on the website includes videos, fact sheets, guidance documents, and other resources.
