T/TAC W&M is pleased to welcome three new Project Specialists to T/TAC W&M—LaShauna Britt, Shelley Littleton, and Daria Lorio-Barsten.
LaShauna Britt brings 12 years of experience as a special education teacher, secondary English teacher, and reading specialist in a variety of settings and grade levels. She has also had various co-teaching and instructional coaching experiences. LaShauna received her B.A. in English/Communication Disorders from Norfolk State University and her M.Ed. in Education from Regent University.
Shelley Littleton joins the W&M T/TAC team having worked as a special education teacher, teacher of students with visual impairments, and intervention specialist for special education. Her teaching experience involved working collaboratively with classroom teachers to successfully include students with various disabilities in general education classrooms. She earned her B.S. and M.Ed. degrees in Special Education from Radford University where she also taught an undergraduate-level course on collaboration.
Daria Lorio-Barsten has 9 years of experience in public school settings serving as special education teacher, general education teacher, assessment and compliance coordinator, and an instructional specialist in the department of accountability and instructional services in special education. Daria earned her B.A. in Psychology and Education from Millsaps College in Mississippi and M.Ed. in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership from the College of William and Mary.
We are excited to have LaShauna, Shelley, and Daria join our T/TAC W&M team where they will be working with other specialists, the director, and administrative team members to provide quality services to educational professionals serving students with disabilities in Superintendents Regions 2 and 3.
